As most of you know we started off with our wonderful Palomino Popup and then a few years later traded it in for a 37 foot TT to keep up at a seasonal site as we fell in love with a great campground.  Problem was we then realized we were missing out on trips with friends to other places as the TT is a wee bit big for us to haul around on weekends.  Because of a neck injury I can't sleep in a popup because they are a bit too drafty for my touchy neck now.  However, I met a wonderful couple who is selling their home and they told me they were selling their TT also.  It's a 1990 Starcraft, 20 ft and they've kept it in fantastic condition and we can tow it with my Durango!  So we are all excited about being able to do some quick getaways with friends again and also plan to tow it down to Gettysburg in July for the reenactment, so the whole family is excited.

My daughter and I spent yesterday changing out the previous owners curtains to mini blinds and got some cute quilts from Sears that look like they belong in a woodsy lodge and flannel sheets with a leaf design.  They are really cute.  The TT has twin beds and a dinette that will convert for the two kids.  We're hoping to give it a bath today and wax it too.  The previous owner has emphysema and he hasn't been strong enough to wash the outside for a few months now.  But its not bad, nothing soap and water won't wash off!!

The bonus is we close up the seasonal camper next weekend, but this little gem will be waiting for us at home and we can take it out to a local campground that is open all year round!!  So when we get the bug to go we don't have to wait till next May!!  Very excited!

I'm not so sure a 20' TT fit's into the catagory of "Little Trailer" :D :D :D

However, I do indeed understand why it's "little" to you! Glad you'll be able to get out and do some additional camping. Have never personally understood the seasonal site style camping, but to each their own! To me the whole thing is about getting out there, going to different places, meeting new people, which you now can do as well. Guess it's the best of both sides of the fence!?!?

thanks all!  I'll have to figure out how to post a picture.  But first I have to take one!!!  Pretty much the TT as it is now is the length of our Palomino when we opened her up, except I have a kitchen and bath  and bigger fridge/freezer now !!  It's fun to have, we were lucky to get it.  As for the "leaf" design...I love having a "woodsy" feel with our campers so I always find quilts and towels etc., that have a camping type feel...the quilts and sheets I got at Sears..the quilt pattern is called Tacoma, it has a border of quilted diamonds in blues, greens, browns and pine trees and rail fences, a deer, a bear and leaf pattern quilted into the squares....really cute (and on sale!) and the sheets are good old flannel sheets with Fall color leaves on them, my towels have canoes or loons on them!!  So our TT feels like a comfy cottage inside!  Just makes you want to take off your shoes and stretch out after a nice day outside and a good campfire to warm your toes in the evening!!  Now to get it out on the road for a trip.....!!!!!!

welcome to my world! we have two campers, a 32 foot on seasonal site, and our hybrid we travel with, we love it!!!when we want to get away its a turn of the key, and pull out the chairs, when we want to see friends its hook up and go. we keep stuff in both units ready to go, just add food and go!
