Fishin BC

We are taking off a day earlier due to snow forecast on Saturday.  We want to get camp pitched before the white stuff hits!  By Tuesday it is suppose to warm up again, so I am sure it won't stick.  We've packed all our warm woolies and are really excited about camping in the snow.

Can't wait to see the doggie's reactions.  Teenage son isn't so thrilled about it, but at least he still wants to go with us.

Have a great Halloween Camp everyone!!

PS [putting on my moderator hat] Just wanted to let you know that you should avoid posting the same post in multiple threads.  I won't delete this thread, even though it's also in the general forum, but please try to keep that in mind for future reference.  :)

[taking moderator hat off now]  See you at the RV show in 2 weeks!!

Thanks--you're too kind!  I'm pretty sure that I must have sounded like a babbling idiot!!  It was not easy and I was soooooo nervous, even though John and Ken are probably against it as well, albeit on financial grounds and not the ethical and moral ones I have in addition to the financial reasons.

Lori, you were on with John and Ken?  I have wanted to go one on one with John for years, when he starts blabbing about religion and such....

Yes, they had me on as an opponent of Proposition 71, the embryonic stem cell research and cloning bill.  I do not hide nor make any apologies for my pro-life view of the human embryo, especially in light of what I do for a living, but I also oppose this bill on financial grounds.

I didn't go into the interview wanting to argue the moral and ethical grounds with John--it's virtually impossible to convice someone of something on moral grounds if they either have no moral grounds or do not have the same moral boundaries as you.  I kept trying to steer the conversation back to the financial and consititutional aspects, but John kept bringing it back to cloning.  I suppose that if the people who heard the broadcast at least now know that the bill will amend the California Constitution to make cloning a consititutional right, then I will have achieved some level of success.
