We were looking at a free-standing screen room or an ez-up with the screening. Does anyone have any experience with the no-seum mesh of the screening and rain? Does the rain go through the screen or will the screen stop it?

We have a Quickshade with the attachable screen. It may keep a light rain away, but not a heavy rain. We use smaller tarps and close off the sides as they need to be. Attached with tiny bingies. We rarely even use the screen anymore.

I have the PaHaQue screen room. The mesh is super fine and the rain has a hard time going thru it. It also has privacy panels you can drop down on each side. One ofthe panels can be used as an awning over the entry way.

I bought the 12X12, way too big for a campsite though. It is 6'6" thru the entry and probably 9 feet in the middle

We bought a free standing Coleman screen room but the rain blows right through it. Hope to buy a screen room with privacy panels to attach to the TT for next year.  I like having the extra room, it was great to have when we had the popup.

Yea, we are serriously thinking about getting a screen room that attaches to the camper again. The Patty'O'Room from A&E seems real similar to the one we had on our popup.

I have the 10 X 12 Pah Que screen room.  It works very well in the rain.  You can lower the flaps or have the flaps out as awnings to keep the rain out.  The sides are very up and down, not on a slant, so unless it is windy, little rain will come in.  Even if the flaps are rolled up. :)
