Gator Grip v Socket Jeannie?

Haven't had a chance to use my new HD DeWalt cordless drill to raise the top.  The Jayco dealer sold me a crank handle welded (I imagine) to a drill adapter (ab. $22), so I reckoned I didn't need to order the socket jeannie.

Then I remembered that I have a Gator Grip  http://gator-grip.com/ and it comes with a drill adapter so I'm assuming this should work for the stabilizers.  (It has some pins that depress according to the size of whatever is pushed into it).

Can anyone comment on these two items???  (socket genie and gator grip....) and their different applications?

My gut feeling is that the Gator Grip will not work. If I remember them correctly they only depress about 1/4 inch.  The tabs on the stabilizers are a little further indented.

I thought about that also.. If you try it, let us know.

Also, how well does the gator grip work?  I thought about getting one to use in general, but DH isn't sure how well they work and if they hold up well.
