Today we signed papers on a 2005 Niagra!

Salesman was shocked to see us, as he doubted he would have a customer all week.  (Carl's Acres of Trailers)

Offered us 4300 for our 99 Bayside.  Not great - but he will move our A/C to the new unit for free.  Will be nice to have the microwave, the oven, the heater, the shower and commode, the thicker mattresses.... etc

Pick it up thursday!

We bought our PU from Carl's in 2002 and have only great things to say about them.  Any time we have needed any kind of service, they have responded quickly, courteously and professionally.  We even called them on our cell phone the second time we ever took our PU out and they answered all of our new owner (i.e., dumb) questions as nice as can be. :)

Welp, dropped off the old bayside yesterday and did the tour of our new unit.  As they are taking the a/c off the old unit, and putting it on the new one, we couldn't take it home.

I am so impressed with the design changes though, from the new door and how it attaches, to the supports for the seats being metal, to the new walled in shower, to the new refrigerator ( all controls inside), and of course, having a heater finally, To new kinds of poles for the bed ends. TO the new bbq, dual propane tanks, etc.  Oh yeah - and tons of head room - I didn't measure - but I think it is somewhere between 7'6" and 8'

THis thing is styling!

Only odd thing - there is no real good place for the camper caddy!

Cant wait to take it out!

Congrats on the new pop-up...you will love that one!  We have the 2004 Hemlock...which is the same thing, just a name change.  Our family of four fits really well in it, with room to spare.  The best part...baking cookies!  Enjoy!

Hi there!  I don't know if you remember us, we camped next to you in Temecula.  How are you guys doing?  We sold our Santa Fe and am planning on purchasing the 05 Niagra in a couple weeks.  YEAH!!!  I'm glad you mentioned the oven, I'm planning on using it for Potlucks.  I CAN'T WAIT!!!

We purchased our Santa Fe from Carl's and had a good experience except for they weren't willing to wheel & deal.  We ended up getting a good price but it took some leg work.

We were planning on buying our new Niagra from American Sales until the salesman copped an attitude and told me that all I was worried about was price.  He said that their trailers have extras that other competitors don't so they won't deal.   He then didn't come out and talk to us when he said he would.  We'll purchase our Niagra from Carl's.

We bought our Westlake in Ventura at All Tent Trailer sales. I know it is a little far but they saved us $2k off American Sales prices. It was worth the drive for us. We then had it serviced in Orange County. You may want to check the webxite. Maybe give them a call and see what their price is for the Niagra.

I've heard of this same attitude from American Sales salemen before.     Their loss, your gain!

We were also not impressed with the sales staff at American.  On the other hand their service dpt is top notch.  A few years ago, I had a big accident with the tow vehicle and the camper was at the dealer.  They stored the camper for me for 9 weeks without charging me.  I felt that was something they didn't need to do but I was sure glad they did.

I purchased my GTE Niagara at American Sales in Stanton.  I had the exact opposite reaction from Carl's Acres vs. American.  The salesman at Carl's would have nothing to do with me, once I spent five minutes hunting one down!  He simply treated me like he didn't have time to spend with me, and I wasn't worthy of doing business with them.  American Sales in Stanton was fantastic.  I told them up front that price was my main concern.  I had already been shopping at Carl's Acres, Marjon, even at the Ventura, Bakersfield, and SanDiego dealerships.  They gave me the best price by far on a totally loaded PU with A/C and accessories, (about 35% below Fleetwood's web page MSRP)!  And yes, their service department ROCKS!  Not only do they, (Danny) know what they are doing, they do it on schedule, at a good price, and with a great additude.

We've had our other trailer serviced at American Sales and the service dept was great.  We didn't have any issues with American Sales sales dept until our last visit.  We were seriously readly to buy from American, but the salesmans comment about price being our only concern sent me back to Carl's.

I think ultimately it  depends on what day of the week and the sales person you see that has a lot to do with the overall experiance.
