Back Home...From Camping!!!

What a way to end '04.... and start 2005! Take an unseasonably warm New Years, a weekend off, add a pop-up, kids, bikes and the dog and ya' got a camping trip!:D
 
We left for Myrtle Beach last year to go camping and just got home! LOL. Myrtle Beach Travel Park wasn't too crowded at all. Only part of the CG was open but they had the indoor pool available. It was almost too warm to use. Did a lot of bike riding, strolled the beach and, in general, enjoyed the 70 degree temps! The heat strips in the A/C had no problem with the upper 40 degree lows.This trip was a nice, last minute surprise. Another surprise for us, we were the ONLY pop-up in the CG!
 
So, was it the last trip of the year.....or the first?

Glad you had a good time Skip. A little too chilly here although we have had a few days exceptionally warm too. I went to Myrtle Beach in April 2001 on my way back to Maine from Wisconsin (almost a direct route) and stayed at Lakewood CG.
 
 Sometimes I wish I could go and at other times I'm glad I get this forced hiatus every year.

It is the last trip of 2004 and the first trip of 2005.  Now the big question will there will be any more trips for 2005?

We camped over New Years too.cg empty,and the dogs didn't hear fireworks.
