Looks like one I bought used in '71.Mine had Sears or Wards signs on it.I don't know who made it. I do rember you could not put much in the box,it was full of tent. The bunks fold out to the side, and the trailer would turn over to stop recreation!

It looks like one we purchased a few years ago that was gutted out and we used it to haul our camping gear (before the Pop-up and Hybred).   It was a 60-somthing Sears Tent Trailer.   It opend out the sides and the door was in the back like the one shown.  It didn't have a roof except that someone had built a wooden one for it.

That looks something like our first "popup" trailer.  Only thing is that we didn't have the back door.  Must have had the cheaper model.

I believe it was a 1969 model and was made by Sears or at least that is where you could buy it.  It was given to us.

We had a lot of fun with that trailer.  Never had to worry about trailer weight or having brakes.  I don't think tthat thing weighed 300 pounds.

The way it worked was you opened the lid, put two poles under it and that was your first bed.  Then you opened the second lid and did the same.  That was the second bed.  Both beds were on the small size but ds and I shared one and dw and dd shared the other one.

Next step was to put the tent poles in.  These went in the front and back of the trailer in some slots.

Last step was to drag the canvas over the poles and tie down the canvas with bungy cords.

We put a child's play table in the trailer to put a lantern and some flashlights on.  Walk around area was maybe 4 feet by 6 feet.

It was really a "tent" trailer and not a popup.  Nothing popped up.  The tenting was actual canvas with a zipper in the back to get in and out.

The sides unzipped and there was screening to keep the bugs outs.

That was your basic trailer camping and we had a blast with it.

Yep, it's a Sears model. A guy I used to 4-Wheel with down in VA had one just like it. Kinda a glorified tent on a platform :)
