what is the one thing you would change in your hybrid if you could?

mine would be lowing the table platform on the slide out, on our hard side( with a full slide too) it flush with the floor

If it only could be one thing, I would say the beds.  Of course, what I want changed about the beds is way more than one thing... (cable supports instead of poles, permanently attached tenting and comfortable mattresses that can remain made even when closed)  :D   Is that asking too much?

I always wondered about the slide outs on hybrids and why they put that step in there.  The bigger campers don't tend to have that -- their slides are the same height as the floor of the camper, as I recall.

With only being a newbie hybrid owner, the first thing I would change is permanently attaching the canvas to the bed boards.  My 05 Jayco already has the cables instead of the poles, which is very nice, but I don't like the aspect of snapping the canvas to the bed boards.
Also I feel the camper sits a little low to the ground, seems if you went over a pretty good hump that the sewer lines would scrap.

Ummm, you're going to limit it to one thing huh? Ok, I'd change it to better quality construction & materials!!! Though I've had no issues with mone so far, I can clearly see how 'cheaply' they are made...

make it free and new everytime we use it :W

I would like my table to be smaller at my u-dinette. I am going to try to make/modify one so I can still use it as a bed when it is down. There isn't much room to slide around the table to get into bed.

I've only done one trip in ours but I think it would be have the tent ends attached.

I would like to attach the cables to my bunks.  I haven't figured out how yet.  One thing I would change would be to never have velcro to secure the canvas.  My 1 year old fell out of the bunk & onto the ground when the velcro let loose.  Luckily he was okay with only a few scratches.  The factory said sorry & that they could send me screws if I would like.  I installed the screws.

After this weekend, the location of the switch for the water heater. Why did they install it at waist level infront of the sink, and with a red light, perfect for the kids to play with. Had to wake up on sunday morning with no hot water for my shower!

Change the setup of the kitchen sink so that the sink and faucets are integrated.  Get tired of wiping up the water from you hands when you turn the water on and off.

Also along the same lines, make the bathroom sink a bit larger to again avoid the water from gathering in front of the sink.

Yep. Even with our modern setup  :D , we have the same problem.

Holly always puts a paper towel folded up, underneath the faucet, to gather water. But we have to change it frequently. I'm always afraid it will make the wood swell.
