Update on Silent Valley

We are going 3-11, 12 & 13. If interested call Far west resorts. We are in the Alder section, Burch is the next loop, not sure how full the place is.

Well, we are disappointed, but we had also been going back and forth because of the weather, so, although I'm sad, I'm glad the decision was kind of made for us!

I hope we don't have to wait unitl Pismo to camp with everyone again!

Well we are not going to Silent Valley however we are going out to Calico........Up here in the High Desert the rain hasn't been to bad........Right now as I type this it is not rainning now we can only hope we will have a small break when we are setting up........One can hope!Sorry, the weather broke up what would have been a good party..........It's not as hard for us to camp in the rain we do not have a trailer full of little ones.......Only Pickles and she doesn't mind at all.........Hahaaaaa  Not sure how fun it'll be for all the Civil War people(at Calico) acting out the war in the rain?  What a crazy year this has been maybe we should build our Arks?  Splish,Splash camping at last.................carol

Well thanks to Moose we went To Calico and had a blast with his other group of friends........It did rain but we put up our PU with out rain and took it down without rain.......Moose made it out of the campground dry however we had some things outside of camper and then Mother Nature had her way with us and we got caught in a heavy downpour..........However Calico was fun and the potlucks were great and met some new friends.......Made for a really nice weekend rain,sun and more rain..........Pickles said she would have liked less rain and really didn't like the cannon's!
We would like to go back next year and take some of the grandkids they would have a good time at this event........Glad the Newport people had a good time see it doesn't hurt to camp in the rain.......Can't wait till the next campout...........carol
