Glad you have had fun so far.  Are you looking for tips speific to this trailer, or pop uppingin general.  I think most tips are going to work for most trailers.

I am about to acquire a used Yuma, my first PU.  I'm looking forward to this new adventure!

Congratulations to both of you!  The Yuma has almost the same floor plan my first PU had.  :)

I just bought one, used, but not used much at all, from a reputable couple who want to upgrade to a 5th wheel arrangement.  I pulled it behind a Toyota Tundra at 70 mph, and it pulled perfectly.  I have yet to camp in it, but am looking forward to it.

I bought mine in the spring of 2003 new. I been injoying my popup since. I have post 3 of my trips, just click the link in the signature.

I did a one mod to the trailer and that was I install Marinco PowerPak RV Conversion Kit. Eliminated the problems I had pull and push the power cable though the hole. Being single with no help this has help a lot.

I like the size of the trailer for just me.

If you spray some silicone on a rag and wipe the power cord once or twice a year it will slip right in the mouse hole.:)  I guess I am too late with this tip for you.

tlhdoc, its the way the power cord feeds on top of the fresh water tank and binds on itself in the storage area. It also makes the storage area more usable.

Moving the cord does make your storage are more useful.  The silicone keeps the cord from binding on itself.  Our power cord was to the point that one person would have to be in the PU pulling the cord in and coiling it, while someone else stood outside pushing the cord in.  Now I limit the area the cord has to coil in and it goes right in.  Take a look at the pictures of "My PU Camper" album in my webshots account.

My PU is Yuma, a lightweight, but at times I need to move it around by myself.  What seems to work?

Bob & Terry, I have a Yuma 2003 also, but have taken it on the road only once so far.  I just bought it in January.  I just got a tip from someone who had a popup.  I asked about being able to more it around easily as one person.  He said he found that if cranked it up to its highest position, it was easier to move around.

M first trip was just a one-nighter, was a real confidence builder.  It was my time in a popup.  Went to sleep with a soothing light rain!  Saw a flock of pelicans -- never had seen that before.  I have a feeling each time out will have it's unique adventures.

Ted, I purchased a trailer dolly about 2yrs. ago for $50 and had no trouble moving my 1400lb camper around my yard. I really purchased it so when I went camping with friends I could swing my pop-up around to face theirs and we would have one large campsite.  :D

Thanks, Diane.  Who sells those?

I purchased the trailer dolly on-line from Harbor freight with a member # I borrowed from someone else, as a matter of fact I think the # was from a message posted on PUT. I have seen them in several other RV parts catalogs, but for quite a bit more.

I saw a few on ebay today with a buy-it-now price of $22 and shipping of $35
