Used our new BAL Leveler this past weekend for the first time.  Wow, what a wonderful product....however, when putting it away, noticed that one of the spot welds was broke.  This happen to any of you?  Did you send it back or have it fixed?  Seems it would be less hassel to get it fixed.

Where did it break?   Mine broke at the top bolt of the big screw.  I emailed customerservice@norcoind.com   they replyed to me right away and then called me.  They are sending a replacement at no charge.  Be sure to add your email address, home address and phone number.

It broke where the tire rests on the pads.  I e-mailed them and anticipate a response soon.  I will let everyone know.

There have been occassions that the BAL leveler has either failed by the screw adjuster being stripped by lack of lubrication, and yes the welds snapping for no apparent reason at the tire pads.

The customer service is excellent so I am told at Norco, and after they replaced the unit, many have added additional spot welds to the replacement for insurance.

I have used mine on at least eight trips since I bought it, and so far.... so good.

Just received a call from Norcoind.  They are sending me a new one

Wow..... that's great.

I would suggest that you get the original spot welded and use it for a back up, or use it as the high side wheel chock. This will make the PU real solid from shifting.
