Air shocks and WDH - What order?

I just finished installing a WDH this past weekend. Yesterday I got airshocks installed on my TV. This coming weekend will be the first trip of the year to Wild river state park. The snow is forecast to stop and the temps should be in the 70' this weekend. All is well :)

Now of course I'm wondering about the setup.    Do I load up my van with all the gear (bikes, wood etc) and then add air to the shocks to bring it back to the height it was before loading  before connecting the trailer and leveling the rig using the WDH.

Obviously I need to be careful about how much air I add to the shocks  :yikes:

Don't know what type of air shocks you've installed but it should have a max air presure rating posted somewhere.  I had them installed on our last TV ('95 S-10) and they were rated for 200PSI.  Used to run them at 60PSI when empty and 110PSI when towing.  That would put truck back on level when loaded.  You may have to try a few different presures to find out what works best.

Can't say for sure but I'd suggest loading TV and having air shocks up to presure prior to hitching trailer and attaching WDH.  Seems the most logical.  Others with more experiance may chime in here.

No matter what, happy camping.
