Hi All..new forum user!

I'm having a small issue with the PU brake lights. I just took my PU out from storage and hooked it up to the van (1999 Viking & 2001 Mazda MPV).
Every other light seems to work (Including turn signals and night lights).
The braking light is the only one that doesn't come on. It's not the bulb since it's the same for the turn and night lights.
Is this a wiring harness issue? Car issue? (fuse?)

Any responses will be helpful.. Thanks and good camping this year.

Hi! Tried to respond while at work today but had cleared out my history and cookies and didn't have my password so sorry for the delay!

I had a similar problem with my last Jeep. The problem is most or all vehicles have 3 sets of lights, Taillights (red) Turn signals (amber) and Brake lights (Bright Red). There is a controller in the Tow Vehicle that controls and converts these signals to the 2 light systems that are found on most trailers; Tail light (red) Turn AND Brake (Bright Red). It sounds like this controller failed and is converting the signals for the Tail lights and turn signals but the diode for the brake lights is probably a goner.

That's my best guess from an RV Mechanic wanna be!
Good Luck!
