I know all the literature with my new pop-up says not to, BUT I want to adjust my brakes, be able to change them and remove my tires for repair or storage.  What's the correct way (jack type) and locations for jacking-up my pop-up?

The points you should place the jack are along the frame, closest to the tire you can get. Don't place the jack on the axle.

We place our floor jack just behind the tire on the frame. Then place jack stands next to it and remove the jack.

Starcraft says to place the jack, if possible (at least on my model), right behind where the rear spring shackle connects to the main frame. If your already hitched to the tow vehicle and the the TV is in park or the hand brake set, the trailer is not going anywhere. But if your un-hitched, better chock the opposite wheel and the front dolly jack wheel so the camper doesn't take a notion to roll while jacked. Also, should you be un-hitched, placement of the jack behind the camper wheels insures the trailer tongue stays in the downward position!
