Does anyone have any recommendations for camping in the poconos?

Hi and welcome murphy and lenk

There is one place I know: //www.otterlake.com/
I went there with my Boy Scouts several years ago and also spent a weekend ,winter camping with the Pop Up.
It's a nice campground and very busy in the summer.I believe you might get more responses if you post the question on the Eastern States Forum or use the "Search" feature and type Pocono or Otter Lake.
There are a lot of activity's for the family/kids and they also have an arcade and indoor swimming pool.
It is not the kind of campground I prefer but thats a personal choice.
I hope this helps and please post "away" if you have any questions.

We have camped at Hickory Run State Park, but that is the only one in the Pocono's.  We like Hickory Run.  What type of campground do you like?

Looking forward to meeting you at Locust Lake.:)

Same for me. We've camped at Otter Lake in the group area near the tennis courts. Not alot of trees/privacy but not as crowded as other areas. I would go again. Kids enjoyed the tennis, racquetball, ceramics and of course, indoor pool.

Have camped at Hickory Run SP numerous times. Enjoy it there, bears and all but don't like the bathrooms much (could use updating like other PA parks have done). Love the 3 pm checkout time  :D  and always take advantage.
