I have an older coleman cooler, the gray one with the wheels, we went camping a couple of weeks ago, the temp was in the 90's all 3 days we camped.

well to make this short and sweet, when packing up I emptyed the cooler of all water from the melted ice, put all the empty pop and beer cans in the coolerleving 4 cans of unopened beer and 3 bottles of water still in the cooler, when we got home I put the cooler in the garage, today while getting things ready for the trip to Ohio I opened the cooler and found that the beer and water were still cold :yikes:

I guess coleman makes a very good cooler.

What you felt was the chill leftover from the overnight low whereever your cooler was stored. By the time you felt them, the insulated cooler kept the drinks down to say 53-55 from an overnight low of 50 while the temp in the garage climbed to 70 . What time of day did you feel them? No cooler in the land will keep something chilled after dumping the ice for several weeks.

didn't think of that but I guess you're right. the night time temps have been down in the low 60's and when I opened the cooler today the temps were in the high 80's.
