Just an FYI, while I have been to Belleplain SP many times in the past, I finally was there in a regular site instead of a group site.  If anyone is going to Cape May or Wildwood, it might be worth considering staying there and just driving the little extra each day.  I believe all of the sites are "primitive" but most are very large and can easily fit a popup, tv, and anything else.  I did notice some other sites that had rv's in it but no activity during the day.  Just an idea for saving a couple bucks and having a peaceful nights sleep.

Belleplain does have some nice large sites with a lake/beach area and canoeing. If I remember correctly I think they also have a concession stand at the beach area. I have not been there in a couple of years but will try to add it to my list for this year. :#

Are they open in the fall?:)

I do believe you can camp well into the fall. I will look through my huge stack of campground flyers and see if I can find a phone # and post it. :U
