Hi all ... just registered, nice website.  I am a first time RV'r and we are picking up our 05 Viking Legend 2470st tonight.  We will mostly be using it on private property we own up north ... so we made sure we bought one with a shower and potti.   A bit nervous about pulling it, as I am also a first time trailer puller (lol).  I see a forum section here specifically for Viking, is there still representaion from viking here?

Congrats on the new Viking.  As a former Viking owner I think you made a great choice.  As long as you have a Tow vehicle rated for your trailer weight plus cargo and people, a brake controller, and a sway control bar you should be fine.
Good luck and have fun.

Congratulations on your new PU!  You will love it and I am sure you will get used to the towing pretty quickly.  I have towed but DH does it most always.  Have a great time and make lots of happy memories.

Congradulations!!  Delivery day is exciting!

Yes, there is Vikiing representation here!  Just look up at the banner ad!  There is also a dedicated Viking thread.

Congratulations on the new popup and welcome to Popuptimes.  You will learn a ton of info from this site and don't ever worry about asking a question no matter how "dumb" you may think it is.  We have all been there at one time or another.

Enjoy the camper.

Congratulations on the new camper.:)   Take your time towing and practice backing up in an empty parking lot.  Enjoy the PU.

Congrats on the new PU. We have the same floorplan and love it. We purchased ours for the same reason, to use on our property up north, but have traveled across country 2 times and have spent 85 nights in it so far. It has towed and set up great. Enjoy.
Take care.

We took delivery of our new pup Monday evening, had absolutly no issues with pulling it and I even managed to back it up in my driveway like a pro (all the worrying about nothing .. lol).  I spent all day Tues setting it up and learning how all the mechanicals inside work.  Me and the wife even ate dinner in it while parked in our yard (dorks!).  We seen storm clouds approaching and even managed to take it down within 15 minutes, just before the rain let loose.  Unfortunatly we will not be able to use it until the 4th of July weekend, so I can only look at it until then.
