I have a 96 roockwood 12' with serious roof problems.  The A/C unit broke the back of the roof and it is sagging, and leaking.  I am handy as a procket knife and can fix most problems.  It there a way to replace or repair this roof?

I'm looking into this as well. My roof is cracking and I'm interested in replacing it.

We had our first roof replaced before we finished our sale and we are now waiting on some free time to have the second new roof put on.  Ours cost $3600. or maybe a little more.  Ins is covering ours except deductable or we would be trying to repair it ourselves.

Did the dealer replace it?

Since you mentioned that you are some what "handy", many have peeled back the aluminum roof shell, and installed the replacement wood section that the lift system is mounted to.

The other expensive option is replacing the entire roof.

 Hope this helps.
