Need the part number if some one has one. I do not want to use the outside grill, but want to use the quick disconnect on the side of my PU for a Coleman stove. I do not want to use the small bottles. I would like to just use the quick connect on the outside of my 2005 Fleetwood Colonial. Does any one know if there is a already made hose for this. I was thinking of buying a Stove assembly from the dealer for a Yuma, because it would have all the hardware to hang it on the side, and the line that fits the quick disconnect. Any thoughts???? So basically, it is a hose with a male connector on one end, and  with the threads that mimic the bottle threads on the other.   :eyecrazy:

You have another issue to deal with, the LP Gas pressure being provided.

The quick connect provides "low pressure" LPG whicle the stoves that use a small tank are looking for "tank pressure" or "high pressure" (they have an internal regulator to reduce the tank pressure to what the stove needs).  The quick connector is "downstream" from the  gas regulator on the pop up and is already at low pressure.

There are 3 "standard" pressures used with LP Gas.

Tank pressure which can be as high as several hundred PSI.

High pressure which is apx 13 psi

Low pressure which is apx 11 colume inches of water (less than 1 psi)

Pre-2004 models Fleetwood/Colemans had a "high pressure" connector on the side rather than the low pressre they now include..  The type of connector they install will usually tell you the gas pressure:

* "quick connect" will provide low pressure

* A "positive" (i.e. screw connector) connection will generally be high pressure

* You will usually only find tank pressure at the tank.

Connecting your stove as you are planning may result in fuel starvation at the stove because it is not being provided with sufficient fuel pressure.

Tim 5055 pretty much nailed it.

The only way I know to hook up in the manner you want, is using a Marshall "T" splitter right at the tank's valve. You will need to purchase a hose that threads to the "T" connection, and then to the stove though.

PPL RV Wholesales sells a kit (T adapter, and extension hose) for $ 40.00. Their stock number is # 50290.

 Hope this helps.

Thanks for the replys :D
looks like a connector on the side is usless :swear: for what I want. I will stick with my pumper gas on the picknick table. That is not bad, just trying to use the options

My 2001 Coleman has the high pressure line for the outside stove mounted to the outside wall of the PU, and I still find that I use my Coleman 3-burner fuel stove on the picnic table the most often.

Nothing in my opinion heats up better than the ol' pump stoves.

But if you want to set up a turkey fryer or other HP propane appliances, the Marshall "T" fitting would work for you.
