Thought this was gonna be spam didn't you?

I had a dream last night; a vision if will.  Seems to me that practically everyone who buys a PUP does at least a dozen mods.  Some of these guys are very creative.  Fresh and Grey water mods, electrical mods, an extra screw here or a clamp there, seal this, insulate that, rotate the doohickie.  All pretty much to improve an existing system or solve the same problems that everyone who owns a PUP has.

Who remembers when Shelby took a bunch of Mustangs straight from the factory and added his own goodies to make a faster, cooler Mustang.  How about Hurst and the Olds, or all the custom van shops of the 70's.

See where I'm going?  Why not a Tim5055 Niagara?  I completely understand theory, heck I've had an unused associates in hydraulics for thirty years.  I can spot a pump on paper at a glance but you could beat me with one and I would'nt know what it is.  I had to take classes to learn to pump gas!

I described some mods I've seen here to the dealer I plan to buy from and all I got was a blank stare and some drool, so dealer mods are out.  But if some one were to 'open shop' for those without opposing thumbs I wonder if there's money to be made?
Things that make you go UMMMMM.

Of course I would expect a free package and royalties.

Well, let this be a lesson to all those who 'have a few' before they post   then think everyone else will get a kick out of your sense of humor. :! :screwy:

I actually like the idea very much.

The only problem I see, is that most people who will keep the camper for a length of time, enjoy doing those mods. I know I have enjoyed doing them.

OTOH, I would love to have a 2005 Niagara with Tim's mods, delivered to my door (hint hint).

Cool! SO, If do we paint the modified PUPs metallic blue and paint two white stripes on them!!???

Will the paint stick to older ABS roofs?
