Need title for Popup in NJ?

Does anyone know if titles are issued in New Jersey for folding trailers?  We just bought a 2000 Coleman Mesa and were not given the title.  The seller claims that New Jersey does not issue titles for popup campers.  Is this true?  We were told that all we need to do is bring the letter proving the sale of the camper (which we did prepare and have them sign), the purchase price, a copy of their old registration to the Pennsylvania DMV (we live in PA but bought the popup in New Jersey) to get a new registration.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated as we are now a little nervous because we have no title to this thing.

we bought both of our trailers in NJ, ! (2)
and it was fun when we upgraded to a hybrid in New Hampshire and they didn't believe us, and we had to call our old dealer and get a faxed letter from them and DMV saying it !

if you want it in writing here's the place on the dmv web site!

Thank you for the info, is there anyway you can resend that link?  It comes up as an error.  Or can you tell us where on that site we can get that information.  I managed to get to the Home page, but cannot find anything about a "title not required for a camper" on the site.  It would be great ammunition for the PA DMV in case they did not believe us either.  Thank you, you made us feel a little more at ease with this.  And yes, the pop up we have is under 4000 LBS.  It is 3250 LBS to be exact.
