Damp bedding

Just came back from camping this weekend and my husband and I couldn't help but wonder if there are others out there that have figured out the trick to keeping bedding dry during the night.  Nothing worse than waking up in the middle of the night with a damp pillow.  After buying our pop-up with an air conditioner we thought the problem would aleve itself, but even with the air on, the bedding still gets damp.  :usflag:

The "cures" are ventilation, insulation, and circulation.

Actually an AC can make the problem worse. Even if it dehumidifies the air, people put about a pint each back into the bunk ends over a night and if the AC is working good it'll cool the bedding/canvas down below the dew point. That means you'll get condensation mainly where ever there is low circulation.
Is the roof inside wet as well? If it is bunk end covers insulate the material just enough in most cases to keep it's temp above the dew point.
Other than that if it's not humid crack open the bunk end windows and if it's really humid outside add a fan to move the bunk end air (and the moisture people put into it) around the trailer so the AC can remove it.

Coming from you, Mike, I find this absolutely hilarious!

Back to subject, it does sound like a ventilation/circ problem. Well said, Mike, especially about the "pint of water".

I was wondering if a fan wouldn't help.  I'll give that a try when we go out again in September.

:J No droolers in the family, but some that have a lot of hot air  :D

A fan and an couple of windows being vented will help a lot.:)
