The 53rd Annual Califonria RV show will be held at the Pomona Fairplex, October 14th through the 23rd.  We'll be going to "just look" probably on Saturday, the 22nd, if anyone else is interested in coming on out.

Here's a link to the RVIA web page--which doesn't really have what I'd call a wealth of information.  It'd be nice if it listed the dealers/manufacturers/vendors that would be at the show.  But here it is in any event:

Okay, I've got a plan.  Since we'll be camping the first weekend of the show with you guys, we can't go until the last weekend of the show, when the dealers really want to get rid of them trailers!  And I'll make Paul see how much we need a hybrid while we're at Temecula (I may have to cause a bathroom catastrophe or some such thing) so he'll be more ready to make a deal on a hybrid. :D

I won't be able to go ..I was planning on it but they've changed the date of Filming to that weekend..

You guys will have to let me know of any cool things I must have if you see them :D

  Hi Lori,
  Try this link: http://www.carvshow.com/
I did and had a better view of what was coming with info on admission and parking and a whole lot more!
We would be going the first weekend due to the fact that our daughter's birthday is the 22nd. She is planning a big sleepover on her birthday which will carry over thru the weekend!! :yikes:  :eyecrazy:

Lori...what day are you planning on going?  We were planning on going....NO!  We are NOT getting a hybrid....we are enjoying our pop-up, but we love to lookie-loo!  :-)  We would be going on Sunday, the 23rd (as we have a blasted soccer game on Saturday, smack in the middle of the day).

We are all over this...I'm actually making some subliminal suggestions to dh about hybrids like:  "Guess what, hon?  It only takes 10 minutes to pack up a hybrid vs. the 3 hours we take for our pop up"  Of course, this will just give dh an excuse to bring even more stuff...yikes!

I can't believe that it has been 4 years since we bought our pop up....seems like it is time for an upgrade or at least looking at the possibilities at the RV show.  I love checking out the million dollar diesel pushers too.

Jeanne you have alot of convincing to do...I've been working on Jim and he's not buying it...I think we need to do a mass collaboration (sp?) at Vail to convince him..but remember everytime he whines about something and any time you get a chance you say "if we had a hybrid...." eventually you wear 'em down just to shut you up :J

The problem is Jim is use to physical labor doesn't mind it ..it was easy for me ..the less Dan has to do the Happier he is...sheesh at Yosemite just trying to get him to put the stuff in the "garage" was an effort everyone was ready to go & I had to do it or we would have been there another hour :eyecrazy:

Good thing the RV show won't be taping the pack up :yikes:  I can't wait for you guys to see the show and say "who are those people and why aren't they fighting" :J

Hey, a TT is even less work than a Hybrid.  No poppin out anything.
