Ok, so I have 4 wires on the control unit but five wires on the jumper harness.
I've "mapped" all four of the wires on the control unit to the corresponding wires on the jumper harness, no problem.  Where does the fifth wire on the jumper harness get "mapped" to.

The fifth wire in question is labled "llumination feed - head lamp switch to vehicle running lamps"

More info =

Control Unit-------------------Jumper Harness
ground ------------------------ground (white)
brake--------------------------brake (blue)
battery------------------------battery (red)
stoplight-----------------------stoplight (green)
???????------------------------vehicle running lamps (brown)

Any help would be apreciated.

thanks

Hey there!

Just tape up that wire and don't use it.  Some brake controllers have a display that lights up at night similar to your radio...  That wire would let you tap into the dashboard illumination circuit.
