I seem to like the Palomino, especially the Mustang model. We are looking to buy a used pop up and so far I keep gravitating towards the Palomino used ones I've seen, although they've been older than what we want. What do you think of Palomino?

I love my Palomino Mustang SC.  I bought mine and it was pre-owned.  I am very, very happy with it.  It has a ton of storage and is easy to use.  I also think that the quality can not be beat.  It is a very good trailer.

My first PU was a 1978 Palomino that I bought back in 1990. I used this camper for over twelve years extensively (on average 12-15 weekend trips a year) until I purchased my Mesa back in 2003. Everything with regards to this PU worked perfectly, and continues to work great at the present time. I gave this PU to our DD and SIL, and the AC, furnace, fridge, stove / sink, lift system, roof, etc still are in good condition.

After twenty five years, the only thing that actualy broke was the main lift cable, that my SIL and I replaced for thirty bucks, in a couple of hours.

Palomino has had the reputation to provide quality products, at affordable prices. I can attest that they do hold up very well over time.

 Good luck finding a PU.

my 20 year old 85 Palomino Stallion is still going strong.  It was a N2U camper and all it needed was a little TLC to clean it up, but from a structural & feature standpoint, everythings still working on it.
