My First Camper!

Hello everyone...

I've just picked up my first camper... a used 1997 Chalet that I won on eBay and I'm quite excited!  I spent a day cleaning & taking inventory of what needs to be repaired, replaced, etc.

There are a couple of things I'd like to know and I'm hoping that someone here can help.  Most of the time, the former owner had the unit in a pretty hot & dry area of California.  Consequently, many of the "rivet" caps are cracked or non-existent.  Can these be replaced and, if so, where?  Also, I'd like to know where I can purchase an awning for the Chalet.  It seems that Chalet doesn't have much information on their accessories page so I'm wondering if there are other Chalet owners in this forum who can share their knowledge about awnings for the unit.

I'm really a newbie to campers so please bear with me in my requests.

Also, if there is a better forum for this request, please let me know.

Welcome to PUT.  I don't know much about Chalets, but I am interested in having one as my next PU.  I am sure someone here will be able to help you.
