We camped early this sumer with a group of friends and had a great time. Did a little hiking a little fishing and a lot of relaxing. My 1997 Coleman Santa Fe has finally started to show signs of problems with the original ABS roof, but I'm determined to get her back in shape over the next couple of weeks. Hurricane Katrina made land fall to our east sparing us the brunt of the storm, but we still were getting 45 to 50 mph winds. Hurricane Rita made landfall to our west and dumped a lot of rain on us. Due to the hurricane all of the campgrounds around here are full to the brim and may be that way for some time while folks attempt to rebuild their lives. Looking at the possibility of a Thanksgiving week camping trip to north Arkansas, sure could use that. Well good to see familiar faces around here, I'll make a point of checking in more regularly.
