I just bought a camper caddie on ebay.  Of course, it does not have the instruction manual with it.  Does anyone know how the hardware attaches to the inside of the camper?  The hardware that was in the box does not seem to match with my 1996 Key West curtain rods.  Is the camper caddie designed for more recent models only?  Any ideas on how to retrofit?  Thanks in advance.

Isn't the Camper Caddie the gizmo with the mirror?  Our camper came without one, and I added it later.  It pop rivets to the ceiling using the larger (5/32?) rivets.  Use one each for the caddy itself, and another one to hold the hook to the ceiling for storage when closing the camper.  We put ours over the sink.  Great little addition.

The plastic mirror is terrible.  Use a tork screwdriver to remove the mounting screws and buy a piece of mirror 1/8" thick 11 3/4 inches square.  Replace the plastic mirror with a glass mirror.

The camper caddie is the grey thing with all the pockets.  The 3 metal hooks get rivited into the ceiling.  The caddie can be attached to either side of the camper on the front, but it should not be mouted on the rear roadside/driverside of the camper .  It is ok to mount it on the rear curbside/passinger side of the PU.  At least that was in the directions when I purchased mine a few years ago.:)

Odd...our Mesa came with the camper caddie and the clips are mounted under the little curtain in front of the bed on the rear drivers side of the camper......right where Traci's says not to!  LOL    We never used our though....actually sold it shortly after we bought the camper.

I have two of them and the directions said the same thing for both.:)

Ours came mounted on the rear passenger side.  We used it a couple of times and said it wasn't worth the bother.
