screen door won't fit

Hey everyone,

So far ya'll have been most helpful. Here is my latest. My screen door won't fit in place. It lacks about .25" of so from fitting the little turning latches in place. It seems the top is not all the way up.

So I did some research. And thanks to ya'll I've been able to find the manual and the lift manual.

I figured the cable were stretched and would not allow the top to go all the way up. Well According to the lift manual. The measuremtent from the top seal to the body rail should be 52". So I traipsed outside in the dark cause I just had to know.

Well I've come up with right around 52". Doesn't that beat all. Considering the slots in the door are about two inches that would mean that 53" should be about right. My tent is not overly tight and the tent that attaches to the door has some slack in it.

Do you think I can adjust my up about another 1" or so?????

Any ideas and comments are appreciated.

Thanks

Andre'

I just recently adjusted my top up for the same reason. My door latches were not catching. I move the wheels one hole in towards the center of the pu. Works great now. Not sure about your adjustment. I have a 97 coleman.

we were discussing this very issue with our dealer a few weeks ago and he said to bring it by and they'd adjust it for us under Coleman's lifetime lift system warranty!   In just a few minutes he had it done!  Door fits better than it ever did!
