Credit Card Offers

I don't know about you but I get tired of getting all those offers for the great crerdit card deals.  I also do not like the information that is put in some of them that I have to tear up before I put it in the trash.

I recently recieved an offer with this notice on it:

"You can choose to stop receiving "prescreened" offers of credit from this and other companies by calling etc.

I guess this is a new part of the Fair Credit Reporting Act.

Anyways, I called the number and one thing I had to give was my social security number.  I did not like that idea but they gave a web site that you could do the same thing at.

There you do not have to give your social security number but it might take a little longer.

By doing this, you will also cut out the number of insurance company offers.
