Had to pass this along ...

With all the sadness and trauma going on in the world at the moment, it is worth reflecting on the death of a very important person which almost went unnoticed last week.
Larry La Prise, the man who wrote "The Hokey Poky", died peacefully at age 93.

The most traumatic part for his family was getting him into the coffin. They put his left leg in. And then the trouble started....

I guess you can find humor in every story.

Are you going to get to go to the 2005 Eastern Rally?  I am with the kids.  It would be nice to meet you being our stories are so much alike.

That poor man!  Kelly's discovering of his demise is at least the fifth time that I've heard he's passed!!

I'm positively shattered.  To think, I've gone this entire past year, not knowing that the artist behind one of the most annoying songs at my wedding passed away...

(in all honestly, I must admit he was creative; my wife and friends enjoyed the song at our wedding.  I'd never heard it before (hey! I did not grow up in America!); the song was a lot of fun and everyone enjoyed it.)
