Bad news - DW got laid off and we have to downsize our assets and monthly debts.  One of the things that must go is our PU - a 2005 Fleetwood Resolute used just 3 times and purchased about 6 months ago. Huge A/C, hot water, ouside shower, storage bin in front, awning, sleeps 8, plenty of storage under seats, never cooked or washed dishes inside, never used outside attached grill, non-smoker.  Sale would include all new dishes, cups, microwave (used twice for popcorn), coffee maker, port-a-potti (bucket with seat/not even used once yet), port-a-potti/shower privacy tent (brand new, not even used once), ball and hitch locks.

Used twice to a local campground (15 minute drive) and once to the North Georgia Mountains (2 hour drive).  No rips, tears, scratches, dents - mint condition.

I think i paid about $8700 from PECO Campers in Georgia. For you professionals, what would be a fair asking price?  (I understand i'll take a bit of a hit.)  Should i wait closer to Spring to put it on the market?

I am EXTREMELY disapointed about letting it go, but a man's gotta do what a man's gotta do.

Once it's gone, anyone want a 2005 Toyota Tacoma 4-door in mint condition?

OC Campers

I am sorry to hear that you have to give up your camper but it can always be replaced when you get back on your feet. (not that that makes you feel any better right now).  I am not sure what a good price would be but maybe checkout www.nadaguides.com

When we sold ours.......

First we tried in Feb, with what I thought was a good price.
Had a few calls and lookers, but they all wanted to beat me down in price.

So we waited to June, listed same price, received alot more calls and price wasnt an issue, I bet I could have sold 5 at that price in a week. Or I should have raised the price?

So you might want to hold off until camping gets started, at least that's what we found.

good advice - experienced that when selling my Jeep CJ7 many years ago: in the cold of winter their weren't too many lookers, but as soon as the temps hit 70 i had calls every night.

Sorry you have to sell your PU and TV.  I hope this is a short term setback and that you can be camping again soon.:)

I, too, hope it's a short term setback.  I'll still be in the woods, just using a tent again.  Depending on my wife's plans, i'm hoping to be back in a PU by next year.
