Looking for a place to camp in April.

The kids are off from school in April and we want to go camping. We live in N.Y. state and the weather won't be all that warm. How far south will we have to go to have some decent weather? Our camper has heaters in it, but it has to be fairly warm for the family during daytime activities. I would like to cook outside, but the cold would limit me cooking inside which will take up too much room. I Think they are off about the 13th.

COTOC is having a spring trip at Otter Lake campground in the Poconos April 21 to 23 weekend.  The campground has an indoor pool and spa.  If you are interested in going with us you can check out the link here at PUT.

For Easter weekend my family is planning on going further south to Assateague Island National Seashore.

We'll be camping at Pohick Bay State Park in Virginia, just southeast of Washington.  We will be there from April 16 to 20, going from Corning, NY area.  We were there last year at the same time.  We found the weather and temps to be terrific for camping and touring.  You'd be welcome to join us, if you have the time available.  What dates do you have off?

We will be off From 4/11/06 until 4/20/06 we checked out the parks website...looks very nice. What sites are nice?
