We're considering buying a 2006 Niagra brand new from a dealer. As we probably will buy from a dealer in Georgia, (we live in Mississippi), I was wondering how many of you that bought new, had to take the PU back to the dealer to fix some bugs? I thought we would pick it up, and head straight to one of the CG's I would like to visit, and if their were any problems we would at least be relatively near the dealership.

I bought my Hybrid at RVWholesalers.com in Ohio, and I live in Virginia... I've never actually needed to take it in for service under the warranty, but did have a local shop do the yearly inspection on the refridge to maintain it's warranty.  Some dealers will shun you for not buying from them...they are the ones to stay away from. A good dealer will service your trailer no matter where you bought it, as they know it's the best way to 'earn' your future business!!

We bought new, and have had no warranty problems with our Bayside.

Idiot owner problems, but no waranty problems.

We bought out Jayco PU new and had no problems with it and never had to take it back to the dealer for warranty work.

We now have the hybrid and the only problem we had was when the A/C went out last year.  It was covered under warranty.

We purchased our 05 Niagara last January and have taken it in for warranty repairs about 3-4 times.  We took it in a few weeks ago to work out the last of the bugs before the 1 year warranty expired. We didn't have any problems with the dealer and no questions asked.   You should be fine.
