I bought my trailer about 3 years and the roof need a rebuild. It seems to be broken just before the radius on the back. It has a dent, is sponge when pushed up on from the inside and leaks. I have read a few stories about rebuilding pop-up roof - seems pretty easy just time consuming. A new roof is $1726.00 delivered. Any stories from exprience on this one. would love to hear what you think and have gone through. Rebuild or just buy the new one?

I haven't done this yet, but did build a teardrop once with aluminum and plywood.  It can't be much diff.  I will tell you this, if you build then you get to custom the areas for things such as roof rack, shelves in the inside, attachements to hang items from ceiling when up, etc....  It would be fun if you enjoy working with your hands and thinking things through.  Just dis-assemble slowly, take pictures, and take plenty of measurments.  All the supplies can be found at your local large hardware store and travel trailer dealers with service shops.  Good luck, and have fun.
