Will the GPS warn you of a low tunnel or a place that you can't have propane like a bridge?

You talking about hitting the tunnel or the GPS?  Or the GPS hitting the tunnel?  On second thought, how can you hit a tunnel?  You'd only say ouch if you miss the tunnel.

Seems like an interesting and useful device.  Maybe we'll have to use some of our income tax refund money to get one.

We don't have any Target stores nearby.  I called one about 1.5 hours away, they didn't have any Magellans.  I checked ebay, they're selling in the high $200 range, about $300 with shipping.  Came across a reconditioned Gamin Quest online for $299.  http://www.thegpsstore.com/Detail-Garmin-Quest-GPS-Remanufactured.asp  The Quest has a 20 hour lithium battery making it more versatile.  Sounds like a good deal to me.  Any comments?

Nice unit but the screen size seems a little small. Also, without a memory card option (or, large internal memory), the map storage size is limited. I saw several RoadMate 300's on eBay in the $300 range as well (makes me realize I got a good deal!). Do you have a PDA? There are several companies that make GPS units that "interface" with GPS's so thats also an option. Take a look at www.buy.com they have a fair selection.

I was amazed to see that the GPS Store is about 30 miles from me! (Ocean Isle Beach, NC)
