On my 2002 Coleman Niagara cracks have started occuring on the body of the camper.  There are 2 cracks on the rear of the camper 1 on each side.  They are in each of the rear corners above the tail lights where the ABS roof rests.  Has anyone else seen this type of cracking and are there any suggestions on fixing it.  The cracks are about 1.5-2 inches long and not very wide, but probably wide enough for water to get into.  I am not sure where the water would go - inside the box or in between the box and the plastic covering.  Some type of caulking or sealant would probably work - thoughts????

I think most of us have had them. If I remember correctly, Fleetwood had some misdrilled/misaligned ABS end caps, and they caused stress fractures (cracks) which are near screws. You probably had these appear this winter, didn't you? I found mine about March of 2002 on my 2001 Utah.

Fixing it, well, replacement. If the cracks had happened when mine was out of warranty, I would have gotten some fiberglass and repaired it that way. But yes, either way, you need to get those cracks closed. I guess you could use transparent pool tape or duct tape if you want until you decide what to do.

If you can get behind the panel, I'd seal it with a swipe of "Red Hot".  It works just like ABS or PVC glue (like on sprinkler pipes) -- but Red Hot will work on most surfaces.

I had a crack on a panel on my Niagara (front, due to a bicycle wheel).  I lined it up, glued it from behind, and it was virtually invisible, strong & sealed when dried.
