to pup or not to pup

I am coming from the Canadain border to San Diego but I think if we tow the pup we will not be able to do to the things we want to do.And DH will not be with me and I am afraid of driving in LA with it,backing and connecting it. Moneywise should I tent camp? Is gas cheaper south of us? We are at 3.05$ Oh I don't know what to do.......

Well you know as well as me, that you can travel faster without pulling the PU. So if you are traveling on your own I would leave the PU behind. just think about the better gas milage you will get. You know like the rest of us that it seems like each week the gas is getting more $$. so $3.05 might be cheap come summer time. :yikes:  and a small tip, try to plan your travels through the LA area around Friday afternoon to night. that is the worst time to get through it.
