I need to replace some of the snaps on my Add-a-Room (both on the room) and on the camper itself.  These are the kind of snaps that you have to turn just right to get them to go on and off and I cannot figure out what they are called so that I can order new ones.  Help is greatly appreciated.  Thanks.

I have an RV parts catalogue and these items are called "turn buttons".
There appear to be many differents styles, but the ones pictured in the cat. I believe are the ones you want. My cat. is called "2005 RV parts and Accessories"
Page 198, part #14-9391 A308 $9.99 for 4
Hope this helps

They are sometimes called "Twist-locks" most commonly they are called "Common sense fasteners".

Here's a good source but you can also get them at Home Depot:

Thanks.  I wish it was those--then I could get them on and off without breaking them, LOL.

Mine are two part like those but the tricky part is all in how you have to twist the fabric/snap combination to get them to go on the piece attached to the camper.  It took us a bit to figure out they had to be lined up just right to get them to separate.

Bummer...I was hoping that would be the answer. Time to call the camper mfr. and/or the add-a-room folks and query them (if you haven't already and if they're still around). What brand of camper is it? What brand of add-a-room? Sounds like the room came with the camper since it uses the same kind of fasteners.
Mine uses zippers, so I can't relate. Plus, I've never set it up. :tent:

I think you are right and I will need to pull the screened porch out and see if I can tell who made it.

That is the bad theing about buying a used camper.  Some of this stuff is hard to figure out.
