Faded Finish

We bought a used 1996 Starcraft StarLounge and the finish is pretty faded.  We don't want to use anything to abrassive on it, but would like to make it look as nice as we can.  What do you recommend?

A can of TR-3 Resin Polish .  That stuff will bring back shine to oxidized chalk-like paint.

I'll second the vote for the TR-3.
I finally had a chance to try it out today. First I put a dab on the 4x4 to see how well it would do with a deep scratch by the door lock. With just one small application and a few seconds of light polishing it is now barley visible. Then I did a 6in circle on the 5er and it looked new. After that I did the same to the black topper off my old truck and it restored it. Then I tried it on the decals on the 5er and it brought them back to about 75%. This weekend the $40 a gallon 303 Aerospace Protectant go's back to the store. At $7.99 for the TR-3 and some good carnuba wax I can't go wrong.

That's a good thing. 303 Aerospace Protectant is a fabric protector. I don't think that it was intended for paint. It works good for waterproofing your tenting though.

There are 2 different formulas. I for fabric and the other for rubber roofs.
Since I have a cover for the pop-up and it is for sale I have never used anything but wax on it. The old hybred and the 5er have rubber roofs so thats what I used the 303 for. I still have a qt. spray bottle of the fabric protector for the awning that I use after the awning is cleaned. The rubber roofs have to be cleaned without any citrus products They recomend Dawn liquid dish soap so I only used the 303 for protection from the elements.

No it isn't.  The Aerospace Protectant is for vinyl/rubber, like Armor All only better.  303's fabric protectant is High Tech Fabric Guard.
