I hope this will help to all newbies.

PU Set-up Check List

1)   Back into site

2)   Level PU side to side before unhitching, (using Balance leveler or leveling blocks)

3)   Chock the wheels

4)   Unhitch, and pull away TV, then level PU front to rear using tongue jack.

5)   Release 4 roof latches, then raise roof half way, then unzip and take out canopy. Now
      finish raising roof.

6)   Now put stabilizers jacks down. (Caution: never raise or lower the roof with the
      stabilizer jacks down.

7)   Now set-up the canopy.

8)   Now pull out bed ends and put in bed supports on both ends.

9)   Set-up canvas on beds, (velcro ro bundgy cords). Dont put in bed bow supports yet.

10) Now pull out slideouts and set-up canvas (if applies to you)

11) Now lower and set-up door and secure canvas to door.

12) Now put in bed bow supports.

13) Now do electric, water and sewer connections.

14) Now time to turn on you water heater, fridge, etc. (if this applies to you)

15) Time to relax and enjoy!!!!

Great idea for a list, GT.

I have another step that I add prior to your step 1, because I rarely stay in sites that have their own water supply.

0.5) On your way in to your site, locate the water standpipe for the campground and fill your water tanks with your hose.

We have found that it is so much easier to do this than to carry water.

Thank you for this list.  I printed it and put it on top of the clipboard when we went on our first trip this past week.  Pulled it out and followed the steps to make sure we did it right.  Felt like a pro when we were set up and cooking dinner in a little over an hour.  Thanks again!

empty front storage before you pull out bunkends (if applies) :yikes:
We also have found it helpful to install door before pulling bunkends out fully and setting stabilizers...seems to fit better as it prevents some body/frame torque.

IF we have electric I plug in and switch the refrigerator over from DC to AC power as soon as we are level.  I don't put the door in place (unless bugs or rain force me to) until everything else is set up and the food/clothing from the TV is moved to the PU.  If I need to put clean bedding on the beds I do that before attaching the tenting.:)

Putting the bed bow supports up before the door stretches the tent and alot of times the door doesn't align properly, but everyone has there own way........

My door fits fine, no issue with it not fitting.  I don't like having to open the door with my hands full, bringing stuff from the TV to the camper.:)
