Maybe stupid quiestion but here it goes. So the 3 poles and the 3 snaps on each side is all that hold it up. It is an awning & an add a room that zipps on. I see the 3 poles holding up the awning but the add a room is heavy, very heavy. Maybe I just need to give it a try, do I contact a dealer to get poles??I have 2 already that should work just need one more. Also is it better to use the snaps or velcro?? Do I need to tie it down also to make it more sturdy?? I've never actually saw one set up close. Does anyone know of a web site that shows and all canvas awning/add a room set up or maybe someone has a photo of their own set up.  Thankyou for your reply. Lots of quiestions, just trying to be prepared for next trip and not spend the whole weekend messing w/ withe the add a room.

When we had our popup we used our add-a-room all the time.

The pictures are awful on the website I had for it, but maybe it will give you some idea of what you are looking for.

Ours was a 12 footer so we had 3 poles that were vertical and then 3 poles that were horizontal along the awning and then they would butt up against the side of the roof.

Velcro ran down the edge of the awning and attached to the add a room panels at the top. In the front there was velcro on the awning front rail and also 2 snaps. There are double zippers that we got from Fleetwood that zip onto the bunkend zippers. These have a velcro strip that attaches to the end of the add a room side panels.

We also used torch holders on the two end poles instead of guy lines. This way there was nothing for anyone to trip on.

We used our add a room every trip, no matter how long or short the stay was.

Hope some of this helped!
