Just wondering...

I have read in other threads about camping in the cold.

I was thinking....I have some left over 1" foam insulation from replacing some siding on the house.  I wonder what would happen if I lined the bunk, under the mattress, with it to kinda insulate the plywood.  This may help in the summertime too.

AND...as a added little bonus may make the thin bedding a little more comfortable.

What do you think?

Many people use the Reflectix material with good success...watch the height though...make sure the top will close with all that bedding.

If you're a Realtor, how do you have time to go camping? :)
Just curious.

I installed 3/4" blue foam [Lowes] under the mattresses of our 01 Niagara and it has really made the bunks much warmer in cold weather. Foam didn't make any noticeable difference in the comfort level....It's well worth the money and effort......

LOL...I am a Realtor and a firefighter for the city...

I have worked as a fireman since I was 17...I have been a Realtor sinc August of last year.

I really have to juggle things around to go.  The hardest part is the FD scheduale.  My wife is off weekends.....I get a weekend off about every three or four.....

I am trying to move completely into real estate and then I can really manage my schedule better.
