well the kids loved the craft boxs and the golf set and the hockey set, they are coming up to our camper again this weekend to play!

they had fun "helping" unpacking our truck when we got back to our seasonal site, they were there waiting for us, and when they were ask to help finish taking the stuff out, it was like an easter egg hunt when they realized it was their stuff left in the truck.

Those mirrors work great on the Silverado.  No vibration at all.

Thanks for donating them.

Hey Dee!
Glad the kids are getting some joy out of the auction items! DH was so happy not to have to haul it all home again. My storage shelves in my part of the basement are almost empty! Weeelllllll relatively..anyway. Had a big yard sale yesterday to sell the last of the Daycare business stuff and sold just about everything! More fun money!
Have fun being creative with the kids!

Sara's little sister got the knitting thingee from the auction, and was thrilled. Remember that "huge" tent that I used to store stuff in???well Sara's little brother got that (I could not get for one and not the other) and last but not least, not only did Sara have a week she really enjoyed, but she got to take home a Bike, a Hickory Hills S'more's kit and her own personal expanding fork to cook the marshmallows on...she did pretty good.

Hi Dee and all,
We also are still relishing over our auction finds from Hickory Hill. The lights are a big hit and of course Sean did quite well with craft boards, markers and bubbles.
We just came back from a long trip to the White Mountains in New Hampshire and Sean assumed Dee would be there. He was also looking for you at one of our shorter trips. He cherishes that little car/flashlight you gave him, he hasn't let it out of his sight.
Sean was also siting around the campfire explaining to his his aunt about his friends Gene and Terry. I think he might always connect Gene with peanuts. Have you found your way back to New Hampshire yet? We had some cold weather while up in the mountains on our last trip. Had to turn the heat on in the begining of August. I know that means the season is coming to an end soon. Everytime I complain about putting the heat on Elaine reminds me of how much time Tracy spends camping in the cold weather. We'll still be out there for a while but once Sean starts school it doesn't do much for the schedule.
Hope everyone has a great rest of the season. Here's to Cape May. :!

i'm so glad he is still holding on to that car light, the little boy (nick) that i took care of for five years used to sleep with it while camping with us, went through a lot of batteries, but it was worth it.  when we see you in Cape May , Sean will have company his age, Nick , now six and his sister Natalie now 4 will be on the trip, so he will have friends to play with, and memories to make.
