100% The 2006 Fleetwood Highlanders have Gray @ Black water connections nothing changed with Layout of the Niagara, but the Sequoia Lost the U shape seating and made longer seating area along one wall all seating is to the right as you enter instead of to left like the 2005s. Mirror added to the outside hard walled shower stove top in Sequoia is like 3 inches from the bed end WOW!  all the seating is cloth not vinyl. I live in Tacoma Washington and these were the Apache camping center Tacoma WA.

Thanks for the info and the floor plan.:)

Did they do away with the cassetes?  or do they have both?  We are holding off for the 2006 because we wanted to see the new water connections.  Where did you see them?  Is the interior the same?

We just bought the 2006 Niagara yesterday. Floor plan is the same as the 05; however, the colors have changed and as mentioned above, they have grey and water connections--no more cassettes.

We had wanted the Sequoia due to the U shaped seating area (six people could play cards around the table) and were told the floor plan did not change from the 05. WRONG! We showed up to the out of town dealer to buy our 06 Sequoia and both the salesman and us found out that indeed the floor plan was gone. He ended up selling us the Niagara for the price of the Sequoia--$13495 loaded (except for A/C) with sway control thrown in as well.

Hi, this is my first post here.  Up until yesterday I had a 1999 Niagara.  I took it in to get the wheel bearings greased and ended up buying a new Niagara.  Haven't gotten it yet, probably won't see it for a couple of weeks.  I do have a couple of questions though. I'll find the answers when I pick it up but my curiosity is getting the better of me (I wish I had an owner's manual to read).

I read in the brochure that there is a 9 gallon black water tank.  My question is does the grey water flow into this black water tank?

Also, I bought my 1999 Niagara at the same place I bought my new one.  When I bought the old one the dealer installed my hitch with the sway bar attachments.  The "kid" that sold me my new one said I wouldn't need the sway bars.  I never drove my old PU without the sway bars so he may be correct.  But I can't imagine going to a heavier PU and not needing them.  Does anyone else pull a bigger PU without the sway bars?  I have a Dodge Durango.

Thanks in advance and happy trails.

No, the black water from the toilet is the only thing that goes into a 9 gallon black water holding tank that sits above the floor, directly under the toilet.  There isn't a grey water holding tank, you have to provide your own grey water tank.:)

We used the sway bar for our Utah when we towed with a S10 Blazer.
Now we tow the Niagara with a Nissan Titan and do not need it at all.

Thanks for the info.  I e-mailed the dealer and they reminded me that when we first got the 1999 we were pulling it with a mini-van and that was why they installed the sway bar.  I'm hoping it works out ok without the sway bars as I always had to remove them to back into tight spots.

Well, we have an '05 Niagara and tow w/an Expedition.  We use sway control. . . . I don't know what it would be like to tow without it, but the dealer recommended it and did not add anything to the price AFTER we made the deal, but installed it for us.  So I use it.  I just hope I don't forget to remove it when I back up!

I understand the 07 Niagra's have a 20 gallon gray water holding tank at standard equipment. I contacted Fleetwood and asked if the tank would fit my 06 Niagra as the floor plans had not changed at all. I was told it wouldn't fit. When I asked why not, all I was told was that it would not be compatible with my camper.
I can't imagine if both campers are the same why it wouldn't work. I'm going to contact my local camper dealer and see if he can buy the tank for me and I"ll install myself.
