Is anyone camping August 18th or 25th weekends?

We'll be at French Creek on 8/18-8/20, but we have nothing for the weekend of the 25th. On Saturday we're going to the Renaissance Faire that's about 40 miles away.

I'm going to make it to the Renn Faire sometime in the early fall, I'm getting ready and checking my wardrobe...Not sure if I will camp as not sure of what it up there that would be much closer than I am from home. But that is an idea though!!! Any ideas near the faire which is well east of Hershey.

Dave if you go in the home base entrance to the park, look for the paver with my last name on it.  It has my DH and DS's first names.  They didn't bother to put my name on it.

They'll be playing the Houston Astros.  Both games are also Skyblast games.

I did a drive by at French Creek last Friday.  The site are close, but it looks like a nice campground.

I hope they're not too close, because that would stink. Everyone has said really nice things about this park, always talking about how great it is. Sites that are close together are definitely not to my liking (unless you're camping with a group, of course).

If you want company I will be out that way over the weekend.  I might be going to the NP next door.

We'll be getting there around dinner time on Friday, and then we'll be up and gone early Saturday so we can spend as much time as possible at the Renaissance Faire. Heck, I don't even know if we'll be back in time for a campfire Saturday night!

I map quested French Creek and it is only 46 miles from the house...Not too shabby

Raymond decided he want to see what it looks like...believe this or not this was last night AND no prompting from me. He actually wanted to take a camper tonight, but I am tired (long week with quite a bit of OT) and he sits while I do all the work.

We are running up there for something to do this morning to check it out and see if this is someplace we would like to camp at. then stopping by the Shady maple for Raymond to see if they ahve the Tee shirts he liked that he bought 2 weeks ago, at the Goods Store, and I want to pick up a few things at the store.

Tracy, (or anyone else who is around Morganstown PA area later this AM...oops not many have my cell number and I will not post it here) if you read this and are heading that way, I will turn the cell phone on and maybe we can do lunch.
