New Top for Flagstaff/Cobra Pop-Up?

Howdy, All!  I'm relatively new to RV'g & unfortunately on my way out (hopefully not forever!)...
"Bottom Line Question": Are new tops available for old pop-up's like mine*?  Approx. cost?  Who could I contact for more info/details?  (*"Flagstaff" by Cobra Pop-up, mfct'd: '92, "standard?" smaller box measuring approx. 6'6" X 8')  I live in the Chicago area.
"Long Story": Due to a "difficult circumstances," I'm trying to sell a 14 yr old "Flagstaff by Cobra" pop-up.  I bought it used, in great shape.  Unfortunately, over last 2 winters it suffered mildew/mold? damage to the extent that the wood on "front & back ends" of "cap/top" have disintegrated & there appears to be more damage under the interior liner.  The rest of it appears to be in pretty good shape. In real estate, I'd call this a "handyman special."  Some people might just call it "junk." Being an unabashed "see-er of value in EVERYTHING" (Sentimentalist, Recycler, Ecologist... :) I can't market this pop-up 'til I know which I've got.  Then, I can "ethically" sell/donate it knowing I've done my best to "pass along the good times for a little cash & elbow grease" &/or avoid needlessly adding to America's waste piles.
Any advice is very much appreciated!

I, too, have a Flagstaff/Cobra.  Mine is about a 1985, I think.  You say that the rest of the camper is in good shape - the only badly damaged areas are in the roof.  We have some issues with our roof also, mostly caused by leakage around the vent and at cracks near the corners of the roof.

As far as I know, there is nothing readily available to replace the roof as a unit.  The manufacturer is out of business, and each camper is just unique enough that "one size does not fit all."

I would venture to say that your camper can be repaired well enough by someone with minimal handyman skills.  The interior panels can be replaced with new pieces of panel, and any damage to the exterior shell can be caulked or repaired to prevent water seepage.  So, it should hold value to someone, somewhere, and would probably give a few more years of enjoyment with a little TLC!

Good luck to you, and hope you find a conscientious owner for your pop-up.

Dee,
Thank you, thank you, thank you!  You hit the nail on the head!  The leaks appear to be at the corners & around the vent.  This has been driving me crazy!  :eyecrazy: (I'm also working on a car that has water leaks... must be my summer for leaks!)
Anyway, you saved me alot of time from continuing my quest for "replacing the top."  I'm relieved that it is repairable & relatively easy.  Might tackle it myself.  We'll see!
Thanks, again.  :)
