early 90s coleman questions

If the canvas is well cared for since new in 92  can I get 10 more years out of it? What about the lift cables? Are the roofs on the early 90s good or are troublesome like the new ones?

It is hard to say how long the tenting will last. If it is in good shape and you take care of it, it should last for a while. If you set it up and leave it up for weeks and weeks at a time, it will not last to long.  The cables will also last if they are kept lubricated with silicone along with the pulleys in the lift system. The whiffle tree (part of the lift system) may need lubricated too. The center seam on the roof need to caulked every few years. The older aluminum style roofs hold up well.
