I have an opportunity to purchase a 1995 Coleman Shenandoah.  The trailer is in really nice shape however it does not have AC.  I doent know if the roof will support one yet or if it is wired for one (any ideas how to find out) IT does have every option available except for ac.  Anyway I was thinking is it possible to use a portable ac and run the exaust hose through the roof vent or through the screen.  Has anyone done this pros cons?  This may be cheaper then installing one on the roof.  THanks

Does the trailer have a roof vent?  A portable AC unit would work, but what size unit can you get.  The standard RV AC unit is 13,500 btu.  You can contact Fleetwood to see if your roof is AC ready.  They could tell you what you would need to install a roof AC.  The nice thing about a roof model is that it is always there and doesn't take up any floor/counter space.:)
